In an effort to provide you with the correct information, our sales turnover is >31%. Most of our turnover is do to restructure. The national average for sales turnover is 46%. The change to the compensation plan you were referencing actually never happened and any changes to compensation is not solely controlled by senior management of the sales organization but is a joint effort with Human Resources. The job of HR is to keep the best interest of the people in mind because people matter.
We make it a practice to be completely honest regarding earning potential and our successful sales reps are 100% aware of their commissions. The majority of our sales management has been promoted into their current roles and we invest time, energy and capital into their success through ongoing management training.
Without more information I can only assume this was just a bad workplace fit. Unfortunately It happens. Hopefully you will find a career that would be better suited for you. Good Luck.
