Pros
Has the product and data to blow any national competitor out of the water. The employees are dedicated and have the passion to do well
Cons
Upper management is disconnected from the employees. All they care about is numbers looking good for the investors/Wall Street. Usually around this time of year, most companies layoff excess employees. Well, not this year. Everyone that's anyone is leaving for the top three competitors. There's no need to layoff if nobody is left. We aren't talking about 1-5 year employees. We are talking about employees that have been with the company from 10-30 years. Those which held on tight during previous acquisitions. Talented positions that know the ins and outs of the products and data, stuff that they don't teach in college. But now, those employees have given up hope and are gone. I'm sure money is part of the decision. But it's also value. Execs don't seem to show that they value the employees. More like they want them gone to show less expenses to investors. We are tired of hearing how we want to position ourselves to be strong to our investors. Stop it. Why don't you support your employees and present them as your assets that provide valuable data and products.
