Pros

Work life balance. If you do a good job, and market yourself well, you'll get some opportunities You can stay here for a few years, have a good work-life balance, and take care of a family, and earn just about as much as you'd earn at other places that would slave-drive.

Cons

Sometimes you end up in a support role and thats the end of your work life balance. Your colleagues will still enjoy it and you have to watch. The work doesn't really satisfy at times. Place chock full of politics. You'll have to play the game,or know someone if you want to climb. Lots of cafeteria bitching and rumor mongering among employees. Rather low quality of people, technically, in a few teams in the tech side at Bangalore. The US teams at Westlake and Texas hold some kind of an unsaid grudge against their Bangalore counterparts, probably because they feel their colleagues got laid off because of them. Not really much cutting edge work. You stay here for 4-5 years and lose your edge. Pretty poor hikes, so you'll have to drive a hard bargain when you join, 'cause your salary's not gonna grow after that.

Pros

Flexible schedule is really the only positive I have. I worked there almost 10 years.

Cons

Constantly laying people off and switch contractors around. Not a big deal unless you team is admin for 7+ buisness units at once, they fire off the contractors you have spent training. They fires that team and told them tp train their replacements.
