Pros

- One Friday off per month - Fun co-workers

Cons

- Micromanagement on everything. Perfect quote from co-worker: "The biggest joke at Covera is that you actually own anything." - Typical day: Upper management has a crazy idea, and you are expected to drop everything to work on it. - Lack of effective priorities. The most common deadlines you will be given are yesterday, today, or tomorrow. - There's some neat radiology AI (like their competitors), but Covera doesn't really have a product. They don't sell the AI directly. They sell the idea of a network of provider groups using their AI to insurance companies. But providers don't want what they offer so they don't participate in the network. Many of the provider groups supposedly in-network don't even know they are in the network. It's a house of cards in the wind.

Pros

Covera is a company where the mission really drives the work. Everyone here cares deeply about improving quality in radiology which ultimately improves patient outcomes, and that passion comes through in the day-to-day. The culture is collaborative and supportive, and I feel lucky to work with such smart, caring teammates. Expectations are high, but it’s because people genuinely want to do meaningful work and make an impact, which makes the work really rewarding.

Cons

The bar is high, and the pace can feel intense at times. For the right person, it’s energizing and growth-oriented, but it may not be the best fit if you’re looking for a slower paced environment.

Pros

Great office, fun and very friendly coworkers, great events, the mission in itself is good

Cons

Chaotic, not sure how it's still surviving to this day. They have had several layoffs overtime since I was laid off from there. Mission is good but the way to achieve it seems ambiguous and it seems like they lack a clear direction
