Pros
CPCO managers understand the importance of balance between work and home life. There is a decent opportunity for in house and out at client work, so the atmosphere keeps you challenged and engaged. For the most part, the people in the office are nice and friendly. By working with several different managers and directors, you are challenged to grow and expand your knowledge base. There are in-house education classes as well as company sponsored seminars that encourage one to deepen their knowledge base. The firm is excellent about providing lunch for meetings/seminars as well as providing snacks, fruit and drinks for everyone.
Cons
The communication at the firm tends to be one direction which is from management down. While many managers allow you to state your position there are other managers that don't want to hear a defense no matter what the situation. In addition, some of the office staff has a tendency to bypass the worker and go directly to a director with issues that could have been resolved if that person just asked the staffer about the issue. There seems to be a lot of drama over the smallest issues. Therefore, the atmosphere tends to be political and consists of cliques. Communication is one-direction -- top down.
