Pros

If you have kids, you get 75% off. You can see your kids throughout the day. Requesting time off is easy and often approved as long as no one else has requested that time or they have coverage for you.

Cons

Short staffed therefore classroom environments feel chaotic. They don’t give raises. You could work there for 4-5 years and never receive a raise. Under paid, average teacher makes between $10-13. Ownership does little to make you feel appreciated, barely even able to crack a smile and greet you when in the facility. But are quick to note anything done wrong or that they didn’t like. The school has very little supplies to work with and the supplies that are there are very cheap. No time given for prep work. Often times if you put in a two week notice, they will let you go before the date you gave. You will not be reimbursed for anything you buy and if you do, it takes weeks.

Pros

What I liked about working here is that you get 75% off your childcare which helps a lot and are able to see your kids on your break and lunch.

Cons

The biggest challenge is coverage. Sometimes we are short staffed so getting a break may take awhile, you may also be pulled into to a different classroom to help or asked to work O.T
