      Pros

      The hours are flexible, you have a lot of freedom and independence while still having a strong, supportive team to fall back on when needed. Management is supportive as well. The benefits for full time are great: lots of PTO, paid holidays, and the insurance coverage is more than decent.

      Cons

      There is a ton of paperwork and red tape that limits work with clients and can feel arbitrary. You can feel like you are being a secretary at times and management cares more about paperwork than actual growth success of clients.

      The organization has a passion for delivering professional help to families. Co-workers are kind and approachable. You would get weekly individual, team, and group supervision. In general, a great place to learn and grow as a family therapist.

      Cons

      Family service is delivered through a team of two counselors. Therefore, there are chances that you have a different working style from your team member. People may get burned out from working with high-risk families.
