Pros

Its remote but work expectations are higher and work life balance is hard.

Cons

To start, ask yourself, how come every time there is a bad review on here, that there is a really good 5 star review right afterwards? Feels fishy. I can assure you. You do not want to work here. Within the last two years, pretty much every leader in the company has turned over with several leaving by choice with no job lined up. The CEO and President cannot keep good talent. It is clear from the outside (as the other reviews have stated) that it is the CEOs way or the highway, always. The company is not growing, the product is buggy, people are leaving. Red flags. If you're looking for diversity in both thought and people, this is not your place. The entire senior leadership team are white males who have all worked together in past jobs and are buddies. We had 1 female VP, but she quit recently. Perks here aren't great. Stock is worth nothing (and most people don't get a meaningful amount), the pay is low ( I don't know who is saying otherwise) and the new insurance is not great. It is 100% work from home, but the expectations are that you work 24/7 with very little work life balance. Many of the open roles are not being backfilled which is creating a ton of strain on existing employees. The company really lacks culture outside of the normal chaos and disorganization. A President was hired to turn it around. First thing he did was a company survey (really cool.) The feedback was fairly negative i.e. lack of opportunities for growth, overworked, no training and learning opportunities to name a few items they shared in an all hands. The next year, instead of doing another survey, we heard tricklings that the president chose to hand select employees to do a hush hush “Stay interview.” Like what? What's the point of only soliciting feedback from certain people you've handpicked? Talk about a moral suck when people heard they weren't chosen for the stay interview. IMO, this shows they weren't truly interested in the people and their feedback, they only wanted to hear what they wanted to hear. Save yourself the headache, go work somewhere else.

Pros

I've been with the company for over two years, and I can honestly say it's been one of the best professional experiences of my life. The leadership here is exceptional—open, approachable, and genuinely invested in the growth of their team members. They encourage feedback and consistently communicate the company’s vision, making everyone feel valued and aligned with our goals. From our company's Kudos channel, to quarterly recognition, every employee, regardless of their position, can send shout outs, kudos, and recognition to their coworkers. How we celebrate each other separates us from other places I've worked. Transparency is a cornerstone of the company culture. Regular updates and town hall meetings keep us informed about company performance, upcoming projects, and strategic direction. It’s refreshing to work for a company that believes in keeping everyone in the loop. The pay and benefits package is highly competitive. I appreciate that the company recognizes and rewards hard work with fair compensation and excellent health benefits. They also offer various perks that contribute to a positive work-life balance. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience here. This company truly fosters a positive work environment where employees can thrive! Highly recommend!

Cons

We are in a significant growth phase, which can sometimes lead to employees feeling a bit stretched thin. However, what truly stands out is the unwavering support we receive from leadership. They recognize the demands this growth brings and are proactive in providing the resources and encouragement we need to succeed. Despite the busy environment, management consistently checks in with us, ensuring that we have the tools and support necessary to meet our goals. Team collaboration is encouraged, and there’s a strong sense of camaraderie among colleagues, making it easier to navigate challenges together. This growth phase presents great opportunities for learning and professional development, and I feel excited to be part of a team that is evolving and making a real impact.

Pros

I can truly say that I love the regular employees that I work with. With all the craziness that is going on at Crelate right now they are the bright light and we trauma bond our way through things daily. Middle management are good people who care about their employees and want to be there to help you. Remote first company which is nice (but is really more about them just being cheap).

Cons

It is so heartbreaking to see what is happening at Crelate right now. It comes to light more and more each day just how incompetent and ill equipped senior leadership is. The CEO has all of these grand vision product ideas but the team can’t execute on any of them or release on time. He doesn’t listen to customers and he doesn’t listen to employees because he thinks he always knows best. The arrogance he has results in poor decisions being made and him constantly changing direction and never giving the team clear direction. Its chaos all the time. The President of the company likes to give long speeches during company meetings that are meant to be inspiring and motivational but he falls way short on putting it into action. He likes to say that we are a “people first organization” but our culture falls apart more and more each day and our people go unheard and are constantly made to feel devalued. Our people are treated as an expendable resource. People are so overworked. Everyone is constantly asked to do way more with way less and it is causing burnout everywhere you look. We work non stop and there is no recognition or empathy from the CEO or the President about the culture and environment they have created. We never hit our goals or timelines for releases and it’s pretty much the norm. The CEO preaches about our core values of trusting each other and acting like owners of the business but then doesn’t allow for it when it is inconvenient to him or what he wants to do. At this point it feels like the damage senior leadership has done to the company is irreversible.
