Pros

The great colleagues and the nice office in central London made my everyday life at Crowdcube a little better. The purpose of the company is rewarding. The work life balance is decent

Cons

Be aware this is upper class white male club. Very little diversity, and this is not something the leadership see as a problem. If you are someone who does not fit this description you will have a difficult time integrating and then later one being promoted. Redundancy or people getting fired for no reasons is common. Target are completely random and then the leadership is surprised that the team is not meeting them. The current industry situation is difficult which does not help but some bad decisions were made by the leadership which created even a worth financial situation for the company. Sinking Ship.

Pros

Great benefits (desk beers, drinks, food provided, private health care, competitive pension) and fun team activities.

Cons

Mixed bag for management; some great managers and some just not so great. Opportunities for career development were very dependent on the specific manager.

Pros

Crowdcube has a lot of genuinely great people - hardworking, supportive, and passionate about their work. There’s a good effort to bring people together through social events and team activities. Work–life balance is achievable in certain teams.

Cons

The leadership team often displays unprofessional behaviour, and decision-making feels ego-driven rather than strategic. The company’s direction changes frequently, with flip-flopping on strategy each quarter as targets are missed. Staff turnover is very high, and departing team members are often not replaced, which puts a strain on the remaining team members. Pay is far below industry standards.
