Pros
The people that you work with will have your back and will work with you on your problems. If you vocalise that you are having problems on a project, management will take the time to go through your responsibilities with you and work to create a plan that will enable you to accomplish your goals and the requirements of the job.
Cons
The work can get stressful and heavy quickly, especially coming out of college. If you do not speak up and keep open and honest communications with management, you will be left behind and feel like you do not matter to the company, which is not true. You will work long nights and weekends, and the workload will seem like it is unending until you figure out how to manage your life and work.
