Pros

-Great coworkers. Most people are very friendly and a pleasure to work with - Fun and interesting projects

Cons

It’s sad to see what became of this place. The biggest con is how management constantly overworks everyone while simultaneously stripping away benefits: - No flexibility. Originally it was 3 WFH days, then 2, then 2 WFH days but they could only be used Wednesday and Friday. Finally it dropped to just Friday WFH. - There use to be multiple outings but now it’s down to just a few times a year. There isn’t even a happy hour every now and then. The company blames “insurance”. I think they’re just being cheap. -Removed extra PTO days for the summer. There use to be 3 bonus summer PTO days you could use June to August. - Originally if you worked 40 hours before noon on Friday, you could sign off early. Not any more. Miami for whatever reason is exempt - Salaries are so low. I was lowballed when I started but it was covid time so I didn’t have a choice. When I went to a new firm, I got a 12k pay raise. Same position, same responsibilities -No bonus my last 2 years there. Before that my bonus for the year was $500 pretax, which was laughable - Project budgets are managed poorly. How is EVERY project over budget? -Bonuses, raises, and salaries are so low because they sponsor a race car. Management says it’s good for “business development” and it “brings in projects”. -Most PMs are great! However there are 2 that will breathe down your neck every minute you are at work (and outside of work). -CEO has very little office presence despite demanding staff to be in office full time. The long and short of it is: this company is too cheap to care about you. Upper management cares more about lining their pockets than taking care of their employees despite claiming they’re “family”. The bottom line is far more important than the employees.

Pros

-Everyone in the company is very helpful and willing to offer advice -The opportunity for growth is very high, you are handed as much responsibility as you earn/want. You don't get held back like I have seen happen with friends at other firms. -The people in the company are the best part, the natural culture of the office is great. Formal and informal office outings are always fun. -I feel like I am capable of making changes at the company and I have seen younger staff start initiatives with support of senior management -The year-end performance reviews with peer review comments I find to be very helpful. It allows for you to relay how your year went, the good and the bad, see how your peers think it went, and allow to offer suggestions on improving the office. -I love my job and the responsibilities that come with it. I have seen friends and peers at other firms who don't get the same opportunities or have to live in the shadows of senior management. I have never once felt like I couldn't take ownership of something.

Cons

-CUBE 3 is not for everyone, as no company is, but it's disappointing only the worst reviews make it on here. It's also disappointing that some of the reviews are a bit misguided in the truth. CUBE 3 is not perfect, but I wouldn't be here for about 10 years if these issues were as plentiful as others make it seem. -CUBE 3 was a bit slow on their adjustment to formal workplace flexibility but has made great strides over the last couple years. -CUBE 3 has allowed a couple of clients to take priority over our staff. I know maintaining relationships is important but some clients are not worth it. -My advice would be to ask to speak to someone in the office if you are interested in joining the team.

Pros

- Firm has potential considering they have strong relationships with their clients but needs a lot of work - Little to no food/snacks provided like other firms - Sustainable design

Cons

- Severally underpaid compared to other Boston firms. I didn't realize until I switched jobs and was offered $15k more. - Pretty boring people to be honest - The only people they let do business development are those in management - HEALTHCARE AND BENEFITS ARE TERRIBLE - You will end up paying a lot and still paying out of pocket - NO 401K UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN THERE FOR 1 YEAR!!!! Not a great 401k company either (does not guarantee a match on 401k) - Very controlling - Expect to work overtime - Not an ideal company if you want experience in different sectors - Kinda clicky - very small firm/office
