Pros

The availability of the product line is simply amazing, which makes it much easier to sell when you have what the customer really wants, instead of trying to sell them what you have instead. I've worked for many larger companies in the I.T. industry that don't have half the amount of products. Plus, it's easy to get the owner(s) to look into adding new vendor products to the mix. The comp plan allows me to make more money (by percentage) than anywhere else I've worked.

Cons

The owner(s) try to take on too much and need to say "no" more often to some vendor requests (and yes even requests from sales reps).
