If incidents happen and you are a black nurse in charge they don't involve but do investigations behind you back. You feel as if you are not considered capable yet they let you run ward when they are sleeping.
If you are black and have emergency family issues they will not give you emergency leave but tell you take unpaid leave. They know you won't do it. If their colleague's dog or cat has a problem they are given compassionate leave paid to look after their dog or cat.
