Pros

Solid office with free snacks, coffee, all that. Good amount of time off - I believe 3 weeks and people are pretty lenient if you ever need to work from home or anything like that

Cons

Very disorganized. Everything from what your expectations are, the path to get there, the correct approach. Always getting pulled in 5 different directions. The market is pretty saturated and I think the company will continue to struggle if they don’t raise more capital through an investment round or make serious changes to be competitive in the market Also very unstable. 6-7 different people on my team were fired in less than a year of working there.

Pros

- A lot of product ownership, you feel empowered to add to the platform, and generally feel like your work can make a difference. - Smart, reliable, and friendly colleagues ! I've actually stayed in touch with most people who have moved on, which says a lot. - Cutting edge tech, always looking to leverage the newest or best. - Great work-life balance, If additional work is required, expectations are communicated in a straightforward and respectful manner. - C-suite and Management is right along-side employees doing the work. The company as a whole feels aligned and cohesive. There is no "us vs. them".

Cons

- On the engineering side, the flip side of leveraging the newest or best is that projects can come and go without having staying power, but I appreciate the willingness to try new things and keep pushing the envelope; especially as a leaner team. - You get pulled in lots of directions, and priorities can change quickly, but it is exciting.

Pros

Novel product with compelling features. Management gets credit as founders creating a new business. It is hard work.

Cons

Not a first mover in the marketplace, it faces an uphill battle against existing and emerging firms that operate with more transparency. The culture is odd, management splits its time as an investment banker. C-suite lacks humility, are more inclined to blame others, and they hire, fire and blind side talent regularly. The exit polling data is universal - Setting aside 1-2 disgruntled ex's (they always exist), PTSD is a universal theme among past hires.
