      5 different words to spell out the worst Experience ever

      Cons

      Been 3 weeks since my last day and still no paycheck in sight. No one answers or has any impact on anything. Pays under the table to avoid being an ethical company. HR is a joke. Account manager is beyond useless. Did not have contact information for the client. Made me jump through a million steps to even get started. Filled out the exact same forms. Terrible experience. Wished I could go back in time and tell myself to stay the hell away because no amount of money would be worth the nightmare they put me through.

      Pros

      - Immediate team is great people to work with through lead level. - Work gives fascinating insight into AI/LLM capabilities.

      Cons

      - Management is invisible and arbitrary - No advancement path. Originally "advancement" was through increased responsibility with no increase in pay, eventually even that disappeared. - Pay is well below reasonable for job requiring advanced degree and experience. This is the "shadow" workforce of training AI. - No job security. At some point, you will be released with zero notice, you'll learn your contract has not been renewed by finding on a Monday morning that you can't log in and then seeing an email that was sent after work hours the previous Friday saying nothing more than you must return their laptop. - Contributing to the further erosion of human work.
