Pros
I had the opportunity to work with many of the smartest and most creative people I've worked with anywhere. The company hired the best and really developed a huge network of people with inter-stellar skills - the economies of LA, Dublin, Vienna and East Sussex can be very grateful! The company blazed a trail in generating *actual* and very real business with serious industrial customers, while most of the others are either now copying this playbook, or are failing.
Cons
Timing, timing, timing. The market uptake was much slower than the company could hold out for. Many people seemed to join with the expectation of making lots of money very quickly? Many others seemed to expect riches and reward as some entitlement? You can see the shattered dreams playing out as vitriol in some of the other Glassdoor reviews.
