Pros
The employee experience here largely depends on your department and the area that you're hired. I will say that they do well with recruiting smart, talented, and generally nice individuals which will enhance your overall experience. The demographic here leans older as the tenured employees (we're talking 10+ years of service is the norm here) tend to stick around. If you are passionate about the industry and the direction of the organization, you will find your day-to-day fulfilling as you will be working alongside talented and passionate individuals. Expect to learn a LOT. The wave of negative reviews highlight the toxic management of certain departments, and also tenured employees who have a certain nostalgia of how things used to be, and not taking into consideration the changes that characterize an industry that needs a massive reinventing in order to remain competitive i.e. ERP implementation, massive layoffs, ever-changing top management, cost-cutting measures, etc.
Cons
- In general, I would say there is NO culture here. There will be sporadic communications that try to reinforce a certain culture, but culture is felt through day-to-day behavior of employees, not just what you say. The recognition you feel as an employee depends on your manager and not a company-wide initiative (at least in the last few years) - No salary increases in the past couple years as company struggles to stay afloat. As a new hire, you will have the advantage of being paid market rate (hopefully).
