Pros

1. My DDN Storage experience has recently began. The process from recruitment to coming on board was professionally conducted. 2. You get to work with the highly skilled people in Storage/HPC. Lot of opportunities learn on Storage/ file system products. Great Hardware & Software for HPC and Lots of challenge in the job. 3. Flexible timings and work from home. 4. Very friendly and supportive work culture. 5. Management listens to your skill related concerns and supports you. Good leadership, and allways there to listen and help you. 6. DDN has products that carry work on multiple domains like storage, file system and etc so there is a vast scope for learning. If you work on GPFS/Lustre, HPC Storage, it's the perfect place to work ! 7. In this company you have to find what's going wrong and fix it. you will have to daily learn, read and listen to other people which can be there to help you. Perfect company if you want to improve your knowledge on Storage and Filesystem solutions.

Cons

1. No canteen (but provide snacks in evening and coffee/Tea for working hours) 2. Not enough training to meet the expectations and I feel there isn't enough educational programs that are targeted for each specific area 3. Technical issues from time to time with the infrastrure.

Pros

There WERE great people who worked there. But wow, they are dropping like flies. “Unlimited” PTO

Cons

Benefits are weak, pay is way below industry for engineers. Leadership is literally ripping out entire departments from the top down.A VP is fired, the new person starts, the new person fires the entire team and replaces it with their own people. A person will be let go and days later the replacement will start. It has impacted so many departments and isn’t stopping any time soon. I’ve already seen it happen in Product/engineering, Finance, HR, Recruiting and other outlying departments. Most people I’m aware of are actively looking because they know the goal is to basically rebuild the company with all new people. It’s chaotic, it’s toxic, RUN!
