Pros

The staff are fantastic. Really lovely people who don't get the recognition they deserve for the work they do. Nice new office in Manchester

Cons

After working for Diversity for several years, I genuinely thought that this would be the place I'd work for the rest of my days. However private equity took over and the cost cutting began. The workload was ridiculous and the wages did not equal the amount of work we were asked to do. Senior management are clueless. I've never known a management team to not actually understand what the department does whilst giving orders that make no sense. It's quite astounding that no one listens to people on the front line as to why things aren't working yet putting stupid policies and procedures in place that make no sense. Also unbelievable that hundreds of thousands of pounds were spent on a new office then rounds of redundancies were put in place where excellent people left. Looking back now, I can see how toxic the place is and no amount of faux positive reviews will make me change my mind on this. They don't care about you, they are not interested in how you feel about the job and are more bothered about stats that dont add up and pulling you on the most ridiculous things. If you're thinking of applying for a job at diversity, don't.

The team is highly dedicated and collaborative, consistently going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. There's a genuine commitment to putting customers first, and everyone at Diversity Travel does incredibly meaningful work supporting nonprofits in completing their missions, which makes coming to work fulfilling The team has an amazing collaborative culture where everyone genuinely helps each other succeed. Management is hands-on and willing to jump in to support customers directly, which shows great leadership and commitment to service I have a Strong sense of purpose knowing that our work directly enables nonprofits to achieve their goals

Cons

As a growing company, processes are still being refined.

Pros

Some really great people. A great cause in providing actual assistance to the NGO market.

Cons

Micromanagement was stifling to growth and productivity. Building the plane as you fly it approach in crosswinds that you could never navigate to success. Being told repeatedly that this was a start up and it is to be expected the direction malays and lack of professionalism in management. Unfortunately, also scapegoating appears to be the way. When failures to trade arise, which was all the time, it was blamed on the sales team. Feeling unrepresented and asking for representation and assistance and knowing that you were not going to receive it as they were too busy covering for themselves. It's a shame, once they were acquired a microscope was put on their inadequacies and everyone below management takes the fall and the staff pays for it with stress.
