Pros
Good benefits and employee activities. Small firm environment. There were some nice people that made working there worthwhile.
Cons
As a minority, I experienced a fair amount of discrimination from leadership and my direct supervisor; old school mentality that is quite unfortunate considering the current state of the world. I was overworked while my caucasian counterparts were assigned lighter workloads. There was a gossip driven atmosphere that I didn't experience working at a larger engineering firm. I was looked over for senior roles because I wasn't a brown noser or caucasian. I found support departments overstaffed and essential departments understaffed and largely overworked. I will add that support department leaders took it real easy which frankly gave me respect for my own hardworking supervisor.
