There is *CURRENTLY* a strong market fit for this product and there is great earning potential The salaries and comp structure are competitive

Cons

Unfortunately, my experience at DX was overwhelmingly negative, due in large part to a poor company culture and lack of operational support. From the beginning, the team dynamic felt unwelcoming. Very few people on my direct team made any effort to get to know me, and building relationships was largely left to my own initiative. It created an isolating environment that made it difficult to feel like part of the team. The onboarding process was extremely limited. I was handed a Google Doc filled with links and expected to independently navigate a highly complex industry. There was no structured training, and when I asked questions, I was often met with responses like “ask ChatGPT” instead of receiving guidance from the people around me. There is an unspoken expectation to work well beyond standard hours — with many employees regularly putting in 10 to 12 hour days. This wasn’t an occasional crunch period, it was the norm. In fact, the founder explicitly stated that employees should make DX their top priority, which felt out of touch and unsustainable, especially for those with families or other life responsibilities. DX also recruits heavily from outside industries but provides very little support to ensure those hires succeed. I was told I would have more leads than I could manage, but in reality, I had fewer than two qualified meetings per month, most of which I sourced myself. Another major concern is the absence of a proper HR function. Sensitive conversations are often handled directly by the founder, which creates a culture of fear and discourages open, honest communication. Employees worry about retaliation, and rightfully so. Compounding all of this is the company’s vague promise of generous equity. Despite being repeatedly told that equity would be a key part of the compensation package, there was no access to a vesting schedule or any clear documentation, even among tenured employees that should be fully vested. This lack of transparency raises major concerns. DX was, without question, the most difficult and disappointing professional experience I’ve had. There are far better sales organizations out there — ones that respect your time, invest in your growth, and treat you like a human being. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
