Pros

Dagger strives for a more balanced approach to keeping its agency humming. Between hybrid work, designated non-holiday PTO, agency-wide activities, and transparent communication, Dagger has set me up for success. I feel that my work-life balance has never been better. To be clear: this is ad work, often grueling and maddening, which makes Dagger’s efforts to provide a fun, diverse, and sympathetic place that much more commendable and enjoyable. Dagger’s never been more pleasant to work in than right now.

Cons

Better communication – whether through Slack or through one the nightmarishly overcompensated organizational tools (lookin’ at you, Click-up – is always a work in progress. Work’s still to be done in regard to having an even more diverse workplace, though it continues to improve.

Pros

People, Culture and Work. The people at Dagger are top notch - truly feels like a family that you're a part of. Also, the culture that Dagger has curated is top tier as well. Between the vibes at the office and yearly events that the agency puts on - this place knows how to have fun. However, the fun doesn't come at the expense of the work. Dagger embodies the "work hard, play hard" mentality and they put out work that captures attention and drives breakthrough.

Cons

Growth, Annual Reviews and Work Life Balance Agency as well as personal growth are things that Dagger has struggled with in the past and continues to struggle with. Throughout my time at the company, the focus on the personal growth and the feedback loop has become less and less of a priority. Work-Life balance has also suffered over the years - leading to burnout.
