Let go with no notice Underpaid and overworked. - IT Employee DataField Employee Review

I worked as a contractor on third shift for this company and was suddenly let go after 3 months of employment. I came in early, stayed late and picked up slack for another contractor that was always sleeping on the job. One time another co-worker made direct and discriminating remarks against me and another co-worker for being veterans. and became confrontational. I did not engage the coworker and went back to work. The employee was so out of line that day, that the manager of the company sent him home for the day. I reported the incident to APT as required by the company. Two days later I was called in for a meeting and told my work was no longer needed. This was obviously in response to me reporting my co-worker's actions
