Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback.
I am very sorry that your experience at DTI did not match our intention of being the best place you have ever worked. We value and consider all feedback and we’ll continue to strive to be the best, but I wanted to address a few specific concerns.
1. At DTI our integrity is above reproach. We pride ourselves on our morality and transparency, and we are committed to creating an honest, comfortable and collaborative environment for all of our employees.
2. We are a company of professionals with a team-oriented atmosphere. We do not tolerate management “cussing employees out” or any form of verbal abuse. If an employee feels verbally abused, our open-door policy gives them the ability to discuss this directly with the CEO.
3. Upon hire, every employee has a clear understanding of whether they are exempt or non-exempt regarding overtime. DTI technicians are paid overtime if required to work over 40 hours. It's the law.
4. Christmas has always been a paid holiday, and we are happy to say that we now offer Christmas Eve as a paid holiday as well.
5. We provide thorough training to each and every new employee, and every manager is always available to provide additional training as needed or answer questions when asked. However, we are forced to re-evaluate employee performance, and act when: additional training does not lead to improvement, we receive client complaints about a specific employee, an employee is unable or unwilling to communicate with their team.
6. Lastly, at DTI a manager cannot just fire an employee for no reason. Managers must demonstrate to me that an employee has been given sufficient opportunity to meet the standard by providing training and counseling prior to a termination. We do have higher standards here at DTI and we expect our employees to be top notch.
It sounds like you have moved on and found a position you are better suited for.
All the best,
Joe
