Pros
Great place to work. A lot of collaboration within and between the teams. Individuals are asked for input and are able to contribute to the evolution of the processes they are effected by. Great culture and people with a positive atmosphere where mistakes are learned from and successes are celebrated. People work hard and feel their contributions are valuable. Promotes a good work life balance. The company buys lunch for the office every Wednesday, which is not a big deal, but it is nice. Location is very convenient if you are commuting from the north shore and are not interested in fighting traffic everyday, but not really an advantage if you live closer to Boston.
Cons
When there is a need you may be asked to contribute in ways that do not fit in your job description, everyone seems to wear an extra hat or two. Have to be engaged and performing, not a place where you can float by. Medical benefits are so-so for a company backed by a large corporation, but 401k matching is good. Salaries are competitive in the area but don't match what you can make if you are willing to commute closer and into Boston.
