Pros

The majority of the team is pleasant, optimistic. There's potential if they work out the kinks.

Cons

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by deceit, lack of transparency, discrimination and retaliation. The company has potential, but it’s not designed for experienced professionals who want to make an impact. Feedback is dismissed, competition is underestimated, and leadership relies on ego rather than expertise. Success here is less about talent and more about fitting into the “fraternity.” A “fraternity culture” dictates who thrives, and anyone outside of it faces barriers. A lot of negative gossip and lack of integrity within the US office. Turnover is extremely high, yet leadership refuses to address the root causes, inexperienced managers and exclusionary practices. The role may sound appealing during recruitment, but be cautious: reality doesn’t match the pitch. Sales quota and attainment are not aligned. Very few if any of the reps actually hit attainment. Lastly, do your due diligence, pay is not equitable and inflated for recruitment purposes. You will not make money!

We feel you. And we want to start by saying that we are genuinely sorry that this was your experience. We have read your feedback carefully and take it very seriously. While it’s difficult to read, we believe it is important to listen openly when someone shares concerns around transparency, inclusion, leadership, and trust. Feedback like this is not something we dismiss, and it has prompted meaningful internal reflection. And we thank you for sharing it. Over the past months, we have been actively working on improving several of the areas you highlighted, including leadership development, clearer communication and alignment around expectations. We know this work takes time, but we are committed to making real progress rather than quick fixes. We also recognize that experiences can vary across teams, regions, and moments in time, and that doesn’t invalidate how you felt. High turnover, engagement, and equity are topics we continue to examine closely, using both qualitative feedback and data, to ensure we are building a healthier and more sustainable organization. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective so thoughtfully. While we are sorry that DataSnipper was not the right environment for you, we truly wish you success and fulfillment in your next chapter. Kindest regards, DataSnipper Team

Pros

* Smart, talented coworkers across sales, solutions engineering, marketing, and product * Opportunity to work with recognizable enterprise and public sector brands * Exposure to global teams and international collaboration * Leadership genuinely ambitious about growth and category leadership in AI for audit/finance * Great experience for people wanting exposure to scaling a SaaS company

Cons

* Decision-making could sometimes feel slow despite the startup/scale-up environment * Career progression and title/scope growth were not always clearly defined * As with many scaling SaaS companies, there could be disconnects between strategic vision and day-to-day execution realities

Pros

You can be average and very junior and still land a leadership role, which is also frustrating for more experienced and high-performing professionals.

Cons

The management team is deeply disappointing. Some leaders display genuinely toxic and bullying behavior. The managers from NY office are the worst managers I’ve ever worked with - unethical, unprofessional, and extremely toxic. There’s also a concerning number of inexperienced managers driven by ego rather than leadership. I’ve seen people join the company excited, motivated, and full of potential, only to leave completely burned out and miserable. The culture often feels performative, people talk a lot about caring, but in practice, very little support exists. They order chicken-fill-A for breakfast after the worst behave to make things up and pretend they care. It's very frustrating. At times, it feels more like a high-school fraternity environment than a serious, mature organization, with many junior professionals overestimating their capabilities while lacking the experience and leadership skills to support a healthy workplace.
