Pros

Proactiveness to lead the ESG market Highly engaged sales and tech teams Honest commitment with a vision of embedding ESG beyond reporting

Cons

Absent people-oriented culture in business and HHRR: shady practices from the people & culture department, similar to 80's HHRR. Unsafe environment for the difference in vision: a different opinion can very easily be perceived as an antagonist, in a very childish manner (with the difference that children wouldn't put your job at play) Dream-driven governance instead of data-driven: data is for clients; internal decision-making is heavily based on a C-suite dream, and data proving otherwise can be as dangerous for yourself as trying to commit to it. Diversity is for backgrounds, not for different perspectives about the direction of the company.

Pros

I'm someone who will always look at Glassdoor reviews before considering a job at a company, they usually portray an accurate picture of the culture. However, I don't think Datamaran's reviews are an accurate representation of the culture I get to experience every day. I get the feeling that some of the negative reviews are about folks who are no longer at Datamaran. I am very glad that I had the chance to talk to current employees and get their point of view before joining, they all highly recommended the company and they were right! The pros: - Amazing people and culture - Inspiring female CEO who truly cares about the mission and the people - Strong, one-of-a-kind product in the marketplace - Lots of opportunities for growth and advancement - Flexibility and work-life balance

Cons

- It's a company on the smaller side so a lot of processes are yet to be put in place - For the US team, the fact that the company is European means that certain things are done the European way. As the US team grows, we start having more influence and can effect change.

Pros

Flat structure, nice people, a lot of trust and autonomy, growing pains as a startup like not a lot of process in place (yet) but that means there's a lot of room for creativity and ideas to set up process, exciting time to join with a lot of growth happening

Cons

Starting a fixed hybrid model instead of flexible
