Pros
* Competitive compensation, overtime pay (rare in consulting world), generous bonuses, raises and great PTO/benefit package * Awesome location. Corner of Wacker and LaSalle, and they just moved into a brand new office with top of the line conference rooms, desks, a new kitchen and spectacular views of the river * Incredible people - everyone willing to help, no sense of hostile competition for promotions, and you can always find someone to get a drink with you after work * They really are the best in the world at what they do. At the end of a project, clients almost always are falling over themselves with gratitude for our work and usually recommend our business for future projects and to business peers. It is easy to do work for a client when they believe strongly in your service.
Cons
* Since the nature of data migration is prepping a system for "go live", almost all projects require at least one full weekend of long hours at the client's site. But overtime and good pay can make up for this! Just know what to expect. * Expected to use personal cell for work, although they do offer some reimbursement * You're not paid for lunch, so most eat at their desk. I personally need some time away from the desk to take a break and eat my lunch stress free. Wish more people subscribed to this mantra
