      Mostly friendly colleagues and flexible working

      Cons

      Appalling organisation - couldn't recommend less. No-one has a clue what is going on - it really is like 'The Thick of It' or 'Yes Minister'. Absolutely no opportunities for progression. Really poor senior leadership with absolutely no vision.

      It can feel like a nice department to work in in terms of the subject area It is possible to move sideways easily

      Cons

      Flexibility we had during covid is decreasing. When based outside of London now you can feel left out of opportunities and conversations Pay is less than equivalent grades in other departments
