It pays the bills, so you are able to live and feed your family. The hours are 9 to 5, and no one works hard on a Friday if at all

Cons

You can only expect career progression if you are part of one club or another, or something worse. Expect s pointless career.

It can feel like a nice department to work in in terms of the subject area It is possible to move sideways easily

Cons

Flexibility we had during covid is decreasing. When based outside of London now you can feel left out of opportunities and conversations Pay is less than equivalent grades in other departments
