Pros
Disclaimer: This sounds too good to be true or scripted, but this is my honest opinion of this company, which may look much better to me because of the places I've been in the past, but I take all that into account.
I've always been one to be hesitant to talk about where I worked, whether it was because the people I worked with, the product/service that I was representing, or just the general shame that comes along with talking about yourself. Not anymore, and the title says it all! This is genuinely the first place I not only don't mind talking about, and actually believe the words I'm saying.
Everyone has their own priorities, mine has always been fitting into a company that truly believes in it's people, and one that truly develops a culture around their company that trickles down from the top to the bottom. I know first-hand how deeply the principals care about their partners, and we're not talking business partners, we're talking each and every person that is a part of this company, and their professional development. Unlike any other owner's of a company who only care about the bottom line and their own profits, these owners understand the success of the company is fully contingent on the talent and well-being of their people, and the profits will follow.
It's one thing to please the people, but to the outside world, you're only as good as the service you provide, and I can say with full confidence, we put the best people out there, and ones that represent Delta in the brightest light. A direct result of so much work developing the culture, is the wealth of extremely talented resources we are able to provide our clients, that are not only technically sound, but act professionally in the field as well.
Something else I've been searching for is the opportunity for personal development and growth. Although this company has been around for 10 years establishing ourselves as a leader in the industry, we have only recently started establishing the foundation of the controls, procedures, streamlining, and protocols that are needed by every company attempting to grow in the last year. I truly believe the success that this company has had is only the beginning, and we will look vastly different in the next year, five years, ten years, and beyond! Management does not look to hire key positions outside of the company, instead they develop and elevate you to grow into the positions that need to be filled. This is a rarity in my experience, and one that I do not take lightly. I have complete faith that my position in this company is completely up to me, and how hard I work, and how far I want to take my personal career, and management will be there every step of the way to support in whatever way they can.
Cons
While pay rate is very competitive with the area, the benefits are somewhat lacking. Not being able to contribute to your 401K until after one full year if employment is definitely a factor.
They provide medical, dental, and vision, but there are limited options compared to other companies I've worked for.
