      health insurance available, not much cold calling

      Honestly surprised this company hasn't been audited by the EEOC. There is no Human Resources department - if you have a question regarding your insurance, paycheck, etc - the President of the company calls to intimidate you and squash the issue. They consistently refuse to pay sales representatives earned commissions, have an extremely vague and (intentionally ) confusing pay structure. ZERO expenses are covered, no 401 k, plus the managers are all a nightmare to deal with. Take my advice and give your talent and time to a company that will not only appreciate you but not treat you like trash.

      Pros

      I have worked for Designs for Vision for 20 years. In that time we have grown tremendously including a move to a beautiful, huge, 70,000 square foot building. As the market leader in innovation and technology we have recently come out with amazing new products from panoramic wide field telescopes to wireless HDI lighting. Coworkers at Designs for Vision care about our customers and are excited about what they do everyday.

      Flexible schedule and nice coworkers

      Cons

      upper management is awful and are constantly micromanaging and talking about how things used to be done in the 80s. there is no room to make more money and it is not possible to grow at this company.
