OK here goes: if you have a specific skill they are seeking, you can name your salary & be treated like royalty. If you're a garden-variety worker (the ones who generate the income), you'll be treated like a stray dog. The new management doesn't know who does what & doesn't care, except for all the middle managers, of which there are more than necessary. They think of themselves as a huge multinational corporation & therefore have endless meetings. Everything is high-tech & you have to account for every minute of your day, & have to atone for every mistake you make. They do not promote from within, preferring new shiny faces when opportunities arise.
