Pros

None at all. Can't think of anything good about this company.

Cons

Everything. If you are not buddies with the management you won't get anywhere. IF you are not a brown nosing type of person forget about moving up in this company. They are fraud and if they don't like you they will get rid of you.

Pros

Jewish holidays are paid off. Most people can coast because there are no annual reviews and most managers don’t care to nurture their direct reports

Cons

Where do I even begin? This is the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my 15+ years in retail. The owners are abusive (I have recordings of them screaming and cussing), you’ll have to answer to their phone calls on weekends, at 11pm, or on your honeymoon. If you don’t, you’ll feel the owners’ wraths. I felt so emotionally and verbally abused at DI. They hired me to do a job but my hands were tied because 1. No one would want to see bad retail results and would ask me to fake numbers, 2. Upper management was so insecure they would sabotage you and badmouth you and block your projects. It’s a boys club but boy, do they behave like teenage girls with the gossip. Your competency does not matter here, as long as you brown nose the upper management and do whatever they say (fidget numbers). You’ll lose all integrity in your work and will be basically a glorified spy for the owners. The owners sue each other and are always out to get each other. Owners also date employees, so there is that. No 401k, no merit increases, no yearly reviews, 10 days of PTO. To push me out they violated my contract and I resigned with a 2 week notice (offered to stay longer if they needed me to), but was let go a day later with blocked access to all emails. Stay away if you care about your career at all.
