Pros

You'll get to touch a lot of projects and technologies.

Cons

The company is struggling... The dynamic and culture were forcibly removed and changed through upper management and now they are paying the price. I was a honey wagoner as well as the other half of the engineering team that left in the span of a month. Here, you'll have the chance to work on many things. You will have the opportunity to babysit your peers and hand hold other departments because they refuse to work. You'll be amazed that the company has 50+ employees, but only require the work of 10-20... maybe... They have an interim CTO who's only qualified by their basic AWS certificates, but has 0 industrial experience other than the startup company he worked for where it took ~10 years to build a basic platform. Unfortunately talking to him is kind of a waste of time, he thinks he is better than everyone else including principal engineers and talks the talk, but from what I've seen. Cannot even crawl the walk. For those that are interested, it may get better, but seriously be careful and prepare to ask yourself if you are ready to be completely drained of all energy the end of each day.

Pros

The company's mission is admirable - doing AI the Right Way to transform healthcare for the better. Initially, culture seemed great, Benefits include unlimited PTO, which is nice.

Cons

In the few years that I was there, the company did two rounds of layoffs. After the initial round, they had a meeting saying that they didn't see any more layoffs in the future; however, within one year they laid off nearly half the company. Also, in between the two rounds of layoffs, the CEO left the company. Following his departure, there was a companywide meeting to let everyone know that "everything was fine." So, if you do work here, I would be aware that what you're being told may not be an accurate depiction of what is actually happening.
