Pros

-Great culture (Summer Fridays, wine on Thursday nights, etc.) -Fun company events, trips, and celebrations -CEO is a leader not a boss -Ample opportunity for growth within the company -Management cares for and values their employees -Collaborative and a ton of learning opportunities

Cons

-Lots of training and coaching so if you don't have a student mentality you probably wouldn't be happy -Come in later (9:30) but also have to stay later (around 6:30) -Very numbers driven and goal oriented so those who are not sales minded may not succeed in the role

Pros

Digitalent is a place that puts their relationships with clients and candidates first, which sets them apart from most other recruiting agencies out there. There is a very strong training process, one that continues throughout your time with the company, no matter how many years of experience you have. That said, you're also still able to be yourself as it takes a genuine personality and enthusiasm to succeed in this job. The leaders at Digitalent are always there to create teachable moments and show you ways to improve, to give you goals and will always have your back. You are also given the autonomy to create your own motivation and because we're a small team, you can see your impact on the bottom line, which is something I've always found very exciting! The culture and the people are also really great. It is a privilege to have a job where co-workers become friends. This happens through company parties, outings, happy hours and also, if we hit our goals, Digitalent Fun Days (Yankee Games and State Park outings) and our company trip to Mexico.

Cons

Being a Recruiter is a tough job, no matter how you cut it. At the end of the day, it's a sales job, and your product is people. There are SO many things out of your control and there are always going to be ups and downs. Also, the personality, drive and skills that are required are something you have or you don't, so the job isn't for everyone. That said, as someone who has thrived as a Recruiter, there is so much success to be had at this company if you have what it takes and you put in the work.
