Pros

Getting to work in the outdoors

Cons

Having to pass our "gifts" or "free" golf club certificates to golfers that were generous enough to donate and having that golfer refuse the "free" club certificate because he has a stack of the certificates from the last four years of Dixon "gifts". They have been giving out the same gifts so long that locals have stacks of the same certificates for "free" golf clubs.

Pros

None. Seriously it scams charities.

Cons

Leaving the company and not looking back. Dixon Golf has serious issues with how they treat their 1099 workers. They expect contractors to operate like full-time employees—following strict rules, schedules, and directives—but without offering the pay, benefits, or protections that employees receive. On top of that, their charity partnerships are questionable at best. They inflate the “retail value” of their products to justify charging charities far more than the actual cost, which ultimately takes more money away from the cause and puts it in their own pockets. Their golf drivers are marketed as high-end, but they are nowhere near worth the $500 price tag they claim. The value just isn’t there, and both workers and charities deserve better.
