Since this is a small business, the insurance is not all that great and not much is covered. Shouldn't be a biggie to staff who are still under their parent's insurance but for those who are not this is pretty important.

Lots of time with awesome dogs, groomers are skilled and supportive while teaching you useful tips and important safety practices. Customers get us treats sometimes and the owners buy everyone lunch once in a while. Great co-workers that are passionate about dogs! The path to advancement was not made clear, and while there were no formal performance reviews, occasional performance log reports were requested by managers. These submitted log reports did not result in discussion or feedback. Working in the bathing area is usually hot, pretty cramped with multiple bathers, loud, very wet and LOTS of dog hair everywhere. Expect to find dog hair inside your clothes, mouth, eyes and nose even if you wear a mask and glasses.
