Pros
The prospect of working to make health care more equitable is exciting. Some team members are smart, hard-working and mission-driven to be part of the health-tech community.
Cons
Bullying management. Punishment/rewards given at whim in return for perceived office face time. - General lack of trust and transparency from management-- secretive hiring and firing. On more than one occasion, an employee quit-- citing systemic or cultural issues with company--and their departure was then painted as an interpersonal squabble with a co-worker or purely personal change of circumstances. The disparity in attention and respect that different individuals are given -- which unfortunately seemed more malicious than plain favoritism.
