Pros
The greatest strength of Doctor.com is the people; the founders and executive team have set the tone and it shows. If you work hard and take advantage of the numerous opportunities you have every week to grow and shine, you are rewarded. Managers are taught to care deeply about the professional trajectory of every one of their team members, and to find ways to integrate those goals into their core responsibilities. There's a genuine culture of hard-work, ambition, but also caring for one-another that starts at the top and has been shared down to even the newest team members. The company is in a large, exciting vertical, which I find extremely appealing. The New York office is an awesome part of the city. Management makes a sincere and proactive effort to maintain a positive, inclusive, and growth-based culture.
Cons
Venture-backed, high growth companies can be pressure cookers at times; nobody has an easy job as this company. Most of the people who work here wouldn't want it to be easy because they are all striving to be their best, and get even better, every day. Building a successful, market-leading company is a challenging project. People who don't understand that well or aren't interested in that mission tend to not be as successful.
