Pros
Some of the people we work with are very good at what they do and great to work with. Some of the managers are very good with supporting and enabling their reports to do their jobs.
Cons
Leadership is completely new and does not understand the company or the product. They also do not understand what DocuSign is all about. Too many layers in management and some of the roles are very redundant and unnecessary. Quotas are way higher than they should be compared to what is officially shared with quarterly earnings calls. Most or even all of the account execs are looking for new jobs because they are not getting any real traction with customers to get any meetings at all much less trying to drive deals to any closure. As a SE you will be working a lot on meaningless work because there just is not enough to go around. The AE to SE ration is way too low. 2:1 is the actual target but it should be 3:1 or 4:1 to be realistic but we have too many AE's and probably a few too many SEs compared to the amount of business and meetings we are seeing right now. Product has no real innovation and product leadership is also a mess headed up by people who have no real history with DocuSign or the business we are in. Customer support is a joke and only seem to be interested in closing tickets as fast as possible if they can't find a quick fix. Leadership is completely uninspiring, cringy and you don't hear any confidence in their voices when they talk about the future. If you are looking to work here then look elsewhere.
