Pros

I get to be around dogs all shift. Other employees provide support and feedback and are incredibly friendly! Britt is very flexible with my hours and has already taught me so much about dogs. Workers can bring their pups into work with them! Such a nice benefit.

Cons

You’re in the yard with 15 or more dogs at once. It can be hectic!! But, that’s why other employees are around to help you out with suggestions. Hands down, I love this job because I really do well with animals and I feel lucky to spend time with a group of dogs this large.

Pros

The dogs are cute and some of the workers are wonderful to work with you also gain a relationship with the dogs.

Cons

There are so many it’s hard to get it all down firstly communication with the upper management is confusing and they never communicate with each other. Britt is a very unprofessional person who will curse at you and deplete your self worth to nothing she also scheduled you sometimes for SEVEN DAYS A WEEK and don’t pay you on time. This job is absolutely exhausting you don’t get to sit or talk and if you slightly mess up even though they don’t train you well or correctly they also gave me employee papers after two weeks, they also don’t give you your breaks on time or at all to some of the other employees. The environment is very toxic and unhealthy and I strongly suggest you don’t apply here they have very small requirements to get hired but yet expect you to be the dog whisperer and hardly help you without being pretentious or condescending I hope to leave soon but if you are willing to deal with this to work with wonderful dogs this is the job for you.
