Dominated by a 90s work culture where employees are treated as resources more than people. No focus on sharing of knowledge or collaboration. The senior/lead engineers work alone and expect to be left alone to do their work. Very little opportunity to learn or grow unless you actively step on others toes. Old fashioned methodology and work mentality. No PLM/PDM. A file/folder process management system. Bureaucratic and paper work heavy. As an engineer, expect to spend more time filling out lengthy word documents than doing pressing tasks. Bad pay and no bonuses or salary reviews/raises. Understaffed in key areas. Cycles back to no knowledge sharing. If certain engineers were to leave they would create knowledge gaps that the company would be unable to fill. Zero feedback and zero growth environment. No concept of promotion or internal career path. They hire 95% white and male. I have heard an employee say that they will quit if the company "starts that BEE k*k".
