Hit and miss communication makes for a frustrating job - UAV Drone Pilot DroneBase Employee Review

...Communication is hit and miss, which brings about uncertainty and confusion. Sometimes they want to wait for better weather, but sometimes they ask that I fly in IFR (which I don't). Every time I made the judgment call because they failed to reply in time - they asked for a reshoot; but on more than one occasion they bent their own rules and okayed less than ideal material. So my rule from now on is, if they don't get back to me in time, I do nothing, so I'm not blamed for something I did that DroneBase didn't arbitrarily agree with.
