Low accountability - people get away with A LOT and nothing happens, which only perpetuates the issue Young, inexperienced and unprofessional management Prevalent cliques Low salary Working with payments is inherently stressful This company is not set up for professional growth or to develop a career in. They take risks on people, which is great if you are looking for a new career or to garner new skills, but they have taken a lot of risks on internal management and it hasn’t paid off. Treat it as such and you won’t find yourself years down the road pigeon-holed into a very specific niche within pharma. After having fears of regressing professionally I decided to leave, and am very glad I did, as those fears were confirmed after starting a role with a much more professional company. Treat DrugDev for what it is, a temporary 1-2 year stepping stone, and you won’t be disappointed.
