Pros
From a production standpoint, the floor guys are awesome to work with. Everyone gets along with everyone for the most part. The benifits and 401k are very good. The front office people are friendly and nice. No separation of office and production, everyone works as a team for the most part. The product its self is outstanding, however see below...
Cons
Supervisors has no direction on what they are doing. They tend to listen to "tattle tales" about everything, seem to hold grudges and go out of their way to make your life as miserable as they see fit. (if your on their naughty list) They care more about production numbers than employees families needs. Treat everyone as they are expendable. If you have an honest complaint/concern it is not a top priority to them. (they tend to tell you what you want to hear...) They constantly break Oregon's labor laws 652.010 and 652.020. Very high turn over rate. Very low pay for the type of work the production crew does. They claim quality is number one priority, but it actually falls like this; production numbers, safety, quality. Supervisors often do things that prohibit work from getting done in a timely fashion, as in how they distribute work. No communication on anything that changes to the production side of things. Every year, our insurance goes up more than what we get in our raises. If they did random drug testing 90% of the shop would be fired, drug use is rampant there, either they come in high, or get loaded during lunch.
