Pros

It gets you 10 paid holidays if you subcontract to the government... That's about it

Cons

Three words... CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. That about sums up this company. They need you to bend to the government's contract requirements, but don't want to pay anything. Among all the groups in my office, everyone knows that they pay the least that they can get away with. Haven't gotten a raise and they just keep hiring more people that don't bring in revenue like the people that actually are contracted out to the government . They give out a $1000 "Appreciation Bonus" so they don't have to give out raises. It works out a lot cheaper that way.. and the bonus this year is supposed to be added to our regular check... So we will have even more taxes taken out than if it was a separate payment .. They take advantage of getting the label of disabled veterans, and get you for as cheap as they can. The "training" was mostly a link to how you can get free training at the library ...

Pros

Great place to work with a supportive team and opportunities for growth. Leadership values employee input, and the work environment is collaborative. Work-life balance is respected, and the company invests in professional development. Great work life balance, you will get PTO approved most of the time if you give them advance notice, and they will respect that.

Cons

The work is engaging and fast-paced, which keeps things exciting, but it can sometimes require extra hours during peak times. Better workload distribution would make it even better. There are great opportunities to take on new projects and responsibilities, but sometimes deadlines can feel tight. More proactive resource planning could help ease the pressure. The company culture is welcoming and supportive, though as the company grows, maintaining that close-knit feel across departments will be important.
