Pros
Not a bad place for younger job seekers to use as a way to get experience before moving on. Some of the people are great to work with. Some of their clients are excellent. The work provides exposure to some companies that could help build your resume. Company has incredible potential to be a true contender in their industry.
Cons
I am trying hard not to be a typical "Yelp reviewer", but my experience was sadly negative overall. •Despite claiming to be a family-run and family-focused company, they have limited tolerance for anyone except top management having regular family commitments or needs. •Managers would prefer people burn PTO or unpaid leave rather than work from home when necessary. •Health benefits are a joke. Example: You MUST use doctors and facilities run by their insurance company. So you'll most likely have to change doctors even if you've been seeing them for years. This includes pharmacies and urgent care. So if there's no urgent care near your house, you have to drive or pay out of pocket. •The two people running the company are a brother & sister who usually bicker and butt heads on almost every decision. The result? A company that hasn't seen any growth in years. •Would rather hire people just out of college because they're cheaper instead of spending the money on seasoned employees who have the experience needed for success. •The major software tool used for scheduling, budgeting, project tracking, etc. is programmed and maintained by a solitary, in-house developer close (in relationship) to upper management. •Leadership has no tolerance for making the tough decisions that will lead the company to success. Too much ego involved. •Upper management has no experience at any other company so has no perspective on how modern companies are run.
