Pros

There are no good reasons to work here unless you are completely desperate but don't expect much. There is a 20 word minimum so I'm just writing this to satisfy that.

Cons

Where to start...well I could start with the obvious corporate 4-5 star review plants. If they aren't then whoever wrote them are either on drugs or one of the chosen few who actually get paid. Jeff Mullen's seemingly bottomless well of arrogance and disrespect permeates through the entire organization. Simply put, the man lacks any semblance of morality, empathy, or honesty. He has surrounded himself with his buddies who can do no wrong regardless of their pathetic attempts to actually do what they are hired for. I should note that there are some good managers there but they are powerless. The place is literally a giant party for those who are in the chosen circle of Mullen. First Friday drunk fests, at least 2-3 lavish corporate retreats to determine the direction of the company (as if the dozen empty conference rooms wouldn't do to have a meeting), booze cruises to Cleveland (yes Cleveland), summer outings consisting of renting a drive in for our company only and having plenty of food and alcohol. Don't get me wrong all this would be fine if you weren't doing them at the same time you are laying off hard working people who actually need a paycheck not dinner and a movie with some beer. Our health benefits changed twice in a year getting worse each time. They tried to screw us out of a weeks pay right before Christmas but only backed off of it because the entire employee workforce was so pissed I think they were worried about a walkout. He constantly lies to board members, current clients, potential clients, etc. it was a joke when he gave a tour it was like "what new lie will he come up with next?" I could go on but the general point here is that the place is terribly mismanaged by a young, rich, punk kid who never went a day without and probably never will. He thinks the world owes him and more importantly YOU owe him your time, your effort, and your personal life to make him rich. The funny part is most of the time when you do sacrifice your time to do something or fix something it's because it's something he directly messed up or allowed to be messed up with his "jump off a cliff and sew your parachute on the way down" planning approach. If you choose to work here after reading 99% terrible reviews with the other 1% being what are obviously corporate plant reviews then I have no sympathy for you. If you are already employed there and didn't see these reviews before you took the job then God have mercy on you. A small piece of your soul will die there...

Pros

Since day one I have been treated as if I have been part of the team for 10 years. They really understand a work/life balance. The team is great and very helpful. CEO is very knowledgable and shares his knowledge and helps others learn. The enviroment is very team oriented and they take the time to catch everyone up to speed, even with previous projects. Good benefits. Cutting edge industry changing projects.

Cons

Computers could use some updating.

Pros

The people you suffer with are the only highlight

Cons

- The stale/stagnant upper "management" (They're not really management because the CEO micromanages absolutely everything). - The CEO tells everyone they are useless so that they won't feel like they deserve a raise. - The CEO wants to only hire desperate people because, they have no where else to go. - The CEO micromanages everything and prevents engineers from engineering solutions (the whole point of their job) - The CEO has extremely bad "good idea fairy syndrome" where he enacts last second changes to processes, software, equipment, etc. without any input. Those decisions lead to extra support needed on weekends, significantly slowed processes, and pointing fingers at everyone else for being the problem. - The CEO will never admit he makes mistakes, calls you a liar when you call him out and show him evidence, and challenges people to blame him for the issues occuring - I could go on and on, but you have to understand at this point that you shouldn't be working here. Do not believe the fake 'good' reviews on here. The CEO says that Glassdoor is for collecting negative reviews so that Glassdoor can hold the company for ransom to remove all the bad reviews for a large sum of money.
