Pros
The job isn't very difficult to do
The task we are asked to complete once you get the hang of it are easy to follow.
The chat agent senior reps are fast, and help you with questions
The supervisors, trainers are very good, and quick to help.
Cons
The VPN software constantly crashes. We have to reboot all day, and this is time we aren't getting paid.
The pay is low. I wasn't even making minimum wage for my state. This is a independent contractor position so making below state wages wasn't working for me in the long term.
The QA scoring can be stringent. Being cursed out, yelled at, and belittled for things you cant control, and they want you to continue to show empathy, and be cheerful.
Some customers are just angry about the process of why Dnergy is on their energy bill, and will make a three minute call turn into an all day nightmare.
